Remanufactured Motors - When purchased with a service plan and installed by Outboard Exchange - One Year

Remanufactured Power Heads - When purchased with a Service Plan and installed by Outboard Exchange - One Year

Limited Warranty

The Outboard Exchange guarantees that this outboard motor will: run; pump water;
shift; and charge (if applicable ).
If the motor should fail to perform said functions, the Outboard Exchange will fulfill the
warranty in one of the following ways:
       1. Refund purchase price (including dollar value trade-in stated on receipt).
       2. Repair outboard
       3. Replace outboard with an outboard of equal value.
The method of fulfilling the warranty will be at the discretion of the Outboard Exchange.
The Outboard Exchange is not responsible for failures due to: owner negligence; accident; abuse; wrong gas mixture; improper installation; failure to use accessories provided ( i.e. fuel filter); and contaminated fuel.

All warranty work will be performed by the Outboard Exchange, at the Outboard Exchange premises.  There will be no reimbursement for work done other than at the Outboard Exchange.

Failure to Winterize Correctly during the warranty period voids the warranty

Note: One-year warranty only applies if One-year Service Plan is purchase at the same time.
                (See Service Program) Failure to use service program voids the warranty.

Rebuilt Outboards:

All rebuilt outboards must be broken in per attached instructions or Warranty will be void.
At the end of break-in period, the motor must be rechecked for timing and general condition
by the Outboard Exchange, or the warranty will be void.

Extended Warranty

Extended Warranties must be purchased with the Outboard Exchange service plan

All warranty work must be performed by and at the premises of the
Outboard Exchange
